Welcome to the Grants for the Arts/San Francisco Hotel Tax Fund (GFTA) web site, making our many programs and services even more accessible to you. You'll find information about our programs, guidelines and over 200 arts and cultural organizations the City of San Francisco supports through Grants for the Arts.

Our program, established in 1961, is an internationally admired model of municipal funding and support of the arts and culture. Our chief goal is to promote and support the widest possible variety of arts and culture activities in the City to both visitors and residents.
