The Fiscal Year 2023 (FY23) grant cycle is closed. Please check sfgfta.org frequently for funding opportunities.
Access the full Request for Proposals (RFP) – Amended: Version 2 with guidance and the link to the online application. Amended sections are discussed in Appendix C, page 53.
This year’s application is simpler and easier to complete. You can also provide your answers in bullet points instead of a narrative.
Please review the full RFP before accessing the online application. We’ve provided great tips and a preview of the application questions to help you save time.
As of Monday, April 4, 2022, you are able to save your work in the Online Application if you need to get back to it later. However, we strongly recommend that you prepare your application answers and gather required, supplemental documentation prior to starting the online application.
All information you will need to complete the application is within the RFP and includes all the questions you will see in the application and all the uploads that are required.
Online Workshops
GFTA has held three online workshops to help applicants navigate the new application process and to highlight the City and County of San Francisco’s (City) priorities. Included in the sessions was a review of some of the information needed by the City to help applicants plan ahead in the event that they are awarded a grant.
You can watch a recording of the workshop here.
You can find the workshop deck here.
We also encourage applicants to review the FAQ section of our website, which includes questions and answers specific to the FY23 General Operating Support Grant Cycle. Questions not covered by our workshops or featured on our FAQ page can be sent to GFTA@sfgov.org.
